Australians love their dogs, which is easy to see considering over 50% of the population owns around 6 million dogs! Our dogs are very special to us, so of course we want to see to it that they receive the very best care in order to keep them happy and healthy throughout their lives.
One of the most important things to consider in that regard is what we feed our dogs. While dry, mass-produced dry kibble and canned food are the most widespread choices, people are increasingly becoming aware of the value of adding raw beef dog food to their beloved pooch’s diet!
Dogs share 99% of their DNA with their direct ancestor the wolves, so shouldn’t we consider feeding our domestic digs a similar diet? - Muscle Tone – Giving your dog a diet of dry kibbles loaded with carbohydrates can lead to a lack of proteins necessary for good muscle development and tone, and also cause unwanted weight gain, resulting in an overweight, lethargic dog who spends his day looking for the next place to lie down for a nap. Just imagine if you were to consume a high carbohydrate, low protein diet of cereal every day, the same thing would happen to you! When you feed your dog raw beef dog food it won’t take long for you to see the happy results, a stronger, healthier, and more active dog who is ready to go out and play!
